O Summer, O Summer Where have thy gone??????

This summer has gone by in a flash. My sweet baby girl starts kindergarten this week. Needless to say, her mommy has run the range of emotions. She is sooooo excited and I have no doubt she is ready but oh my goodness has the time flown by. It seems like just yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital and this week I send her off to big girl school. She is an amazing little girl that makes my heart smile on a daily bases. I have no idea what I did in this life to deserve such a wonderfully, sweet, smart, beautiful little girl but I am so thankful that she is mine.

Here are a few pictures of our trip to the beach over the summer. Laurelai is a total beach bunny (I have no idea where she gets that from) and she pretty much stayed in the water the whole time we were there.

Here is Laurelai with her class before her big ballet recital. I will upload the video when I get it off the camera. It was very sweet and Laurelai did an excellent job.

Amy's Wedding in Savannah

One of the sweetest people I have even had the pleasure of knowing got married this past weekend in Savannah. Amy is like a little sister to me and Laurelai had the honor of being her flower girl. It was a very fun, special weekend and I was so very proud of the excellent job my little girl did.

Laurelai graduates from preschool

My baby girl has literally grown up right before my eyes. Her last day of preschool was last week. I have to admit that I was more emotional picking her up from her last day than I was at dropping her off on her first. I think it just hit me suddenly that she's no longer a little baby, but is now a sweet, wonderful, little girl. She truly is so much fun and has the best personality. This time with her has been so much fun!!!

Spring like weather = Roadtrip for the day!!!!

This is one of my most favorite times of year. On Saturday the day was absolutely gorgeous. The sky was the perfect color blue, the birds were singing, the flowers beginning to bloom, and we hit the road to enjoy the day. We ended up in Chattanooga and enjoyed spending a fun, family day together. Here are a couple of pictures of our trip into Ruby Falls. Jim isn't in these because he was sweet enough to take the pictures of Laurelai and I together. We did get a great family picture that I will have to scan in later and post.

A Snowy Day in Georgia

OK, I think it is no secret that I am not a winter weather girl, as a matter of fact I have been counting down to spring since the last day of fall. However, it was nice to have one day to play in the snow. Laurelai had so much fun running around, throwing snowballs, and building a snowman. Mommy and Daddy even get in on a little of the fun. Now, bring on the spring weather.... it is time for winter to be outta here!!!!!!
